Former Great Sankey pupil wows The Voice judges

FORMER Great Sankey High School pupil Alex Buchanan wowed judges from BBC show The Voice on Saturday night and made it through to the next round.

The talented 23-year-old sang Chris Brown’s Don’t Wake Me Up for Tom Jones, Danny O'Donoghue, Jessie J and Will.I.Am and was praised for his vocals after all four judges turned around.

The Penketh star is now hoping to continue to progress through the competition under the guidance of Domino singer Jessie J.
