PUPILS from Great Sankey High School will become engineers for a day as part of an event to encourage teens to study science, technology, engineering and maths.
The Barrow Hall Lane school will be hosting a ‘Faraday Challenge Day’ which involves six teams each made up of six 12 to 13-year-old students who are given a secret engineering conundrum and race against the clock to solve it.
The top three teams from across the UK will receive an all-expenses paid trip to the national final in London in June to compete for £1,000 for their school.
