KIND families are being called upon to host 11 to 13-year-olds from Mogilev, Belarus, during the summer who still suffer from the after-effects of the Chernobyl disaster of 1986.

Organisers have found a short stay in the UK can boost the youngsters’ immune systems and extend their life expectancy by two years.

A full programme of events is in place to help working families.

The children are accompanied by their own teacher and speak English.
