GREEN champions in Lymm have been rewarded at a new awards ceremony.
The winners of Low Carbon Lymm’s first Climate Week awards winners have been announced ahead of a presentation at the farmer’s market in the village on Sunday.
Nick Rigg, from the organisation, said: “This is the first year Low Carbon Lymm has run these awards and we’re very excited to announce our winners.
“We hope people will join us in saying congratulations and very well done to the winners.”
Judges included Clr Ian Marks (LD – Lymm), Belinda Miller, from a marketing agency specialising in ‘green’ issues, and Peter Owen, chief executive of an environmental charity.
They will hand over the awards at the market on Sunday at the Youth and Community Centre at 1.30pm.
