Town's favourite TV couple split
THE town's favourite reality TV couple have filed for a divorce, according to national reports.
Lisa Appleton and Mario Marconi got engaged in the Big Brother house during the ninth series of the programme in 2008 before tying the knot on Channel 4's Wedding House.
But reports in the Daily Mail today quote Lisa, from Latchford, as saying their marriage was over after being duped by a conman who claimed they would have their own reality TV series.
It is not yet known what will happen to the pair's racehorse Bebe.
