A BUILDING society on Bridge Street is calling on residents to give their favourite charity in the town a cash boost.

Yorkshire Building Society will be giving away a share of £1,000 to Jump, which provides memory books for parents of terminally ill children, Speak Up, which supports adults with learning difficulties and Warrington Animal Welfare which provides neutering and re-homing services for lost and stray cats and dogs.

Customers and members of the public can vote from next Friday for their favourite with the winner receiving £500, second place £300 and third place £200 on February 23.
