Slimmer raised £240 for WDP

A VOLUNTEER with Warrington Disability Partnership (WDP) lost 12 pounds in weight to pick up £240 by getting people to sponsor her weight loss.
Hayley Carrick, aged 37, has lost 12lbs since October and even stuck to her diet over the festive season to raise money for WDP.
She said: “It was hard to stick to the diet over Christmas when I was with my family.
“Everyone was eating chocolates and cakes, but I managed to just have a small piece of cake and a portion of trifle.”
Hayley, who has been a volunteer for WDP for 12 years, helps out in the main office.
She decided to lose weight for health reasons and feel better.
“I feel a lot better now and am going to stick to the diet. I hope to lose another pound each week,” added Hayley.
