PAUL Johnson will miss the rest of the season after it was confirmed today that he will need a full cruciate knee ligament reconstruction.

Johnson was injured during the second half of Warrington's 40-34 cup defeat at St Helens on Saturday.

He is the second player Wolves have lost for the rest of the campaign from the cup defeat. Stuart Reardon will take no further part in this campaign after rupturing his Achilles' tendon in the sixth minute at Knowsley Road.

That was the same injury collected by another full back, Chris Bridge, at Knowsley Road in February to rule his season over.
