Beyonce has revealed she has a special voice she reserves for singing lullabies to her daughter Blue Ivy.
The 31-year-old singer - known for her on-stage alter-egos such as Sasha Fierce - told ITV's Daybreak that while she does sing to her 16-month-old daughter with husband Jay-Z, she doesn't use the same voice she performs with.
Beyonce: "I do sing to her but I have a mommy voice. I keep my Beyonce voice for the stage and I have my simple mommy voice.
"I remember hearing a story about Celine Dion and she was like 'when I sing my son cried'. And that's so interesting, she has the most beautiful voice in the world and she's like, 'He hates it'. So I say, well maybe I'll just give a little simple nursery rhyme voice to my daughter."
The singer also revealed she had a silly side that people aren't used to seeing.
Beyonce said: "People take me a lot more seriously than I do, I'm aware of that so I have to be conscious of it but definitely I'm a goofball, I'm a goofball."
