IRISH star Imelda May will be returning to Warrington after announcing plans to extend her tour due to huge demand.

The Parr Hall is among four venues added to the singer’s tour schedule to promote her new record, Life Love Flesh Blood.

She will be performing in Warrington on November 13 with tickets on sale this Friday at 10am.

Life Love Flesh Blood saw Imelda take a departure from her previous rockabilly sound for more of a soft rock/acoustic vibe.

U2’s Bono even gave her guidance throughout the creative process.

Life Love Flesh Blood, recorded over a week in Los Angeles, reached number five in the UK charts ahead of artists like Texas and Drake when it was released.

The record spent more than a month in the top 20.

Imelda, who recently supported Elvis Costello in the United States, has promoted the new album with performances on BBC1’s The One Show and The Graham Norton Show, and ITV’s Tonight At The London Palladium.
