FOLK icon Seth Lakeman has chosen Warrington as one of just two tour dates announced for 2017.
The BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards winner will be at the Parr Hall on March 11 two days after his London gig at Cadogan Hall.
Seth is touring to promote his eighth studio record, Ballads of the Broken Few, which was released in September.
The album, which was produced by Ethan Johns, saw him collaborate with the emerging female trio Wildwood Kin.
Seth's previous albums include Mercury Prize-nominated Kitty Jay, the gold-selling Freedom Fields, Poor Man’s Heaven, Hearts and Minds, Tales from the Barrel House and Word of Mouth.
