RICK Astley will perform an open air gig at Delamere Forest in July 2017 to celebrate 30 years since his first number one hit.
The Brit Award-winning 80s star will be playing six dates as part of Forest Live, the Forestry Commission's summer concert series in woodland locations around the country.
Rick's Delamere concert follows his first number one album in 29 years. He took a cue from Adele, naming his comeback record after his age, 50.
The former Newton resident was just 21 when he released Never Gonna Give You Up.
It became the UK’s biggest selling single of the year, going on to hit number one in 16 countries.
The song became the signature tune of his debut album, Whenever You Need Somebody, which sold 15 million copies and cracked the US top 10.
Rick performs at Delamere Forest, near Northwich, on July 2, 2017. Tickets are £36.50 and go on sale at 9am on Friday. Call 03000 680400 or visit forestry.gov.uk/music
