NINETIES pop icon Gary Barlow is marking the release of his new book with a trip to the north west.

The Take That frontman will be taking part in a question and answer session ahead of the release of his new book 'A Better Me' at Thornton Manor in Wirral on October 2.

With a career spanning more than thirty years, Gary is one of the UK's most successful songwriters and has penned 14 number one singles.

His personal memoir 'A Better Me' will look back at the 47-year-old's life and delving into issues such as weight, stress and depression and describes his comeback and journey back to professional success.

From reforming Take That to critical acclaim, Gary will talk about becoming a judge on X Factor and Let It Shine while revealing how he balances his career and personal life.

Tickets are £25 and will go on sale on July 2 - they will also include a signed copy of 'A Better Me'.

On the night ten lucky winners will get the chance to meet Gary after the event for a photograph.
