A FIRE breather and stilt walker is coming to Warrington Market for its Around The World in 80 Traders event.

Stefan Grundy, who has performed at the likes of Download Festival, will be performing in the town on May 21.

The event will take influence from the story of Phileas Fogg and his journey, 'Around the World in Eighty Days'.

Steve Pickering, market manager, said: "For us it’s wacky forms of transport and looking how long it would take to get around the world in each of them.

"We’ve got ‘flycycles’ which are bikes with wings on them so the event has a sort of steam punk feel."

Chris Adamson, from Lymm, will be bringing along his 1893 Aveling & Porter steam engine, Vanguard.

And there will be world music, street theatre, food and drink from all over the globe and a celebration of Warrington Market's links with Tomino Market in Spain.

Both Around The World in 80 Traders and Warrington Comic Con events have been organised as part of Love Your Local Market, a campaign celebrating British markets.
