Lord Huron
For fans of: Dawes, Vance Joy, The Staves
MUSICIAN Ben Schneider found the inspiration for his band from the depths of Lake Huron in Michigan.
Old memories during a trip to his family home followed him back to Los Angeles and the indie folk band Lord Huron was born.
After a pair of EPs, their debut album, Lonesome Dreams, was released in 2012 and they have not stopped since.
Lord Huron's follow-up record, Strange Trails, came out in April 2015 and the quartet also contributed five tracks to the soundtrack of the Bill Bryson biopic, A Walk In The Woods.
The film stars Robert Redford, Nick Nolte and Emma Thompson.
- Lord Huron play at Gorilla in Manchester on Tuesday
