DO you fancy yourself as a master criminal?

Warrington's game masters at Clue HQ are offering people the chance to stage a 'bank heist', steal as much money as possible and then escape their Crown Street base.

It is the third attraction since Clue HQ opened in July 2014 with its fallout shelter themed 'Bunker 38'.

The second escape room 'The Dungeon of Doom' opened towards the end of the year and the bank heist themed 'The Vault' will open in the coming weeks.

Creator Stuart Rowlands, who used to work at Apple Jacks, came up with the idea after being inspired by old game shows like The Crystal Maze and escape games on his mobile phone.

The team building games see players solve puzzles and clues to progress. ‘Big brother’ watches your every move and will be on hand via CCTV if the riddles become too much.

Waiting times for the first game have been up to two months to play in the evenings or weekends and following 250 reviews on TripAdvisor Clue HQ has been ranked the number one activity in Warrington.

And the 'escape game' craze has also spread further afield thanks to the success of the Crown Street attraction.

Stuart added: "We're over the moon to be heading up our second location in Blackpool. This will hold two new games and be based a little bit inland at Whyndyke Farm."
