2013 looks set to be Warrington band China White’s year.

The group, featuring Ian Brown’s percussionist Inder Goldfinger, will top a busy 12 months writing tracks in LA with a live session for BBC Manchester on Saturday and an E.P launch and video shoot at Antwerp Mansion at the end of the month.

Inder, who has also worked with Annie Lennox and Finley Quay, said: “The band has had an amazing 12 months.

“Last March we spent time living with Rolling Stones and Black Grape producer Danny Saber in West Hollywood working on a number of tracks together.

“We’ve just received news that two of the tracks (one featuring kermit from Black Grape) have been signed in the States and are due for release on March 19 on Danny’s ‘Saber Bytes’ album.

“On returning from LA, we also spent time at Keith Allen’s house writing and recording parts for Olymic Opera Will Cliff be There? Liam and Antony from the band then toured through the summer as members of Keith’s band Fit Les.”

The electro funk collective have also featured on BBC Introducing Manchester / Merseyside / Leeds and Lancashire and performed a live show for the Manchester station at The Ruby Lounge last October which Keith Allen introduced.
