VIOLIN maestro Andre Rieu is bringing his new show to the Echo Arena Liverpool on December 22 as part of a UK tour.
He praised the British people for their enthusiasm at last year’s concerts.
He said: “We absolutely loved the UK tour.
“Maybe it’s a bit odd to say, but in other countries you often hear that British people are restrained or not very emotional. But in fact, we experienced the complete opposite. The British audience gave us such a warm welcome.”
From famous Viennese operettas to film scores, spirituals to musicals, folk songs to marches, his concerts are a mix of thrilling, romantic, festive and emotional melodies combined with surprises, balloons, beautiful soloists and Rieu’s great sense of humour.
