It's that time of the week again where we ask you to put down your knife and fork and tell us about your favourite eatery in the town.

Our Warrington Guardian Food and Drink Awards will be running over the next 10 weeks following a successful debut in 2016.

And this year it's tastier than ever before with seven new categories.

Celebrating the best dishes, restaurants and takeaways in the town, we will be revealing a new category every Monday evening on our website and appealing for your suggestions.

The most popular will then be entered into an online ballot on Friday lunchtimes where readers can vote for their favourites.

The overall winners will be revealed in a special supplement in the Warrington Guardian this spring.

And this week we're looking for Warrington's favourite Italian restaurant.

Whether you've found the perfect pizza or you prefer to talk to us about a tasty tagliatelle, we want to hear from you.
