Egerton started strongly against an equally matched team. Christopher Corteen-Allen played well in midfield alongside Bradley Berry who kept the opposition at bay with some strong tackles.

Joe Lasham kept the game moving by quickly kicking the ball back into play from the goalmouth but really didn't have too much to do. Jack Pass had an excellent game in attack that culminated in a close shot at the goal.

It was an excellent defensive performance led by Barney Wynne and Oliver Smith.

Lewis Moston scored Egerton's goal, a long punt into the top of the net.

Harry Collins was at the centre of some well co-ordinated play before Witton broke through the defence to score minutes before the final whistle.
