Shoot the 65s

I AM currently in receipt of an Incapacity Benefit, however on December 23 1998, I reached the age of 65 and then obviously I became eligible for Old Age pension. However this pension is only payable from the first Monday after the 65th birthday and according to regulations, there can be no pension from the 23rd to 27th December.

It is rather strange that for five days I didn't exist. Does it also follow that I should not have to pay rent, gas, electricity or even buy food for this period - what a disgusting state this country is in. A suggestion for this so called caring Government is that they shoot everyone on reaching the age of 65.
