JOHN CARTLEDGE The funeral of John Joseph Cartledge has taken place at Bethesda Evangelical Church Stockton Heath. John, who was born and raised in Latchford passed away on the 23rd January 2018 after a brave battle with illness. John spent much of his life in the building trade and was a member of many of the town's local football teams. He spent two years at Warrington town where he was the clubs leading goalscorer for those years. In recent years John was engaged in missionary work in Ghana where he set up a book ministry (Malak Ministries) supplying Christian books to Churches and pastors. John leaves a wife, daughter, three sons, four brothers and a sister. The committal was at fox covert cemetery arranged by Knox and Son Ltd.
