WILLIAM Frederick Brown, husband of Marjorie Brown, died of prostate cancer on July 13, aged 73.
Mr Brown, from Latchford, formerly lived in Orford for a short while and was born in Poulton-Le- Fylde.
He spent most of his working life in engineering and manufacturing at Avdel, Woolston, then after retirement worked as a car park attendant in the town centre.
Mr Brown was a lifelong supporter of Liverpool FC and Warrington Wolves.
He leaves his wife, two sons, a daughter, numerous grandchildren and step-grandchildren.
A service and cremation were held on July 24 at Walton Lea.
Arrangements were made by Co-operative Funeralcare.
