KENNETH Percival, husband of Carol Percival, died of pneumonia and bowel cancer on June 21, aged 71.
Mr Percival lived in the Warrington area all his life.
In his youth he was a keen rugby player and played for Eagle Sports Club, where he had been vice-captain and an honorary member.
He also enjoyed fishing, breeding birds and socialising with friends and family.
Mr Percival leaves his wife, three sons and three grandchildren.
A service was held on July 7 at Walton Lea, followed by cremation.
The Rev Ron Percival officiated.
Arrangements were made by Knox & Son.
