EDITH ASTILL (NEE EDWARDS) Sadly passed away in Warrington Hospital on 27 September 2015, aged 87. Edith was born in Warrington and lived for many years in Kingsway North with her late husband Norman, prior to moving to Sandymoor to be nearer their family. A member of Kent Street Independent Methodist Church in Latchford for over 75 years, Edith was kind, considerate and always supportive. She will be very much missed by son Neil, daughter-in-law Suzanne and grandchildren Sian and Rachel. The funeral service will be held at Grappenhall Independent Methodist Church on Monday 12 October at 10.45, prior to committal at Walton Lea Crematorium. Donations in Edith's memory are in favour of Francis House Children's Hospice, Didsbury. Enquiries to A Maddock & Son, Stockton Heath (01925 261803).
