TWO men have been arrested for begging in Sankey after Cheshire Police warned of a scam on Wednesday.
Officers from Warrington West NPU arrested the men - aged 35 and 48 - at 4.30pm on Dorchester Road.
The arrest followed a warning two men had been witnessed on Hood Lane telling people they needed money to 'call home'.
Police posted on Facebook the claims were false and part of a scam.
