I WRITE in reference to the anonymous letter in the March 28 issue of the Warrington Guardian.
I could not agree more that the ideal location for a new-build infirmary walk-in centre would be on the vacant ground adjourning Cockhedge Way, near to Asda, which is merely collecting litter.
Please Warrington Borough Council, reconsider your decision to build apartments on the site.
As your correspondent says: “Where is the logic?”
Common sense for some reason seems to be thin on the ground.
In view of the number of new apartments built in the town, surely vital infrastructure such as medical centres and dentists should be an urgent priority.
