LETTER: Happy memories of visiting the long lost Horse and Jockey pub
I AM writing about my memories of the Horse and Jockey public house on Winwick Road.
I remember going to the Peppermint Gardens Night Club which was linked to the pub in the early 1980s.
The club played 80s synth music, I used to go with my girlfriend every week.
That girlfriend became my wife, we’ve been married now for 38 years.
