AS a Warrington resident and Warrington Wolves supporter I was disgusted by the people of our town causing criminal damage to the Castleford Tigers rugby league supporters’ coach (Warrington Guardian, February 18).
This caused distress to the innocent people on board and lengthy delays home while the supporters awaited a replacement bus.
To those responsible, you should be totally ashamed of yourselves and if you are a Wolves fan you should disassociate yourselves from the club as you are not wanted.
If it was my decision and you were located, I would suggest punishment of the offenders be birched.
I am ashamed to be a Warrington resident at this time.
May I apologise to the Cas fans for their horrendous experience at this time.
