LETTER: Record made by primary school in 1957 incredibly still plays today
IN 1957 I was a member of Beaumont Junior School Choir and we made a private recording in the school hall which was put on a 78rpm record.
I recently discovered my copy of that record in my attic, and to my amazement it still plays perfectly.
Does anyone else remember making that recording and are there any more surviving discs?
