I TOOK a trip into Warrington town centre on Saturday afternoon.

It was a gorgeous day, the sun was shining.

Families of all ages were having fun and the food and drink vendors were doing a roaring trade.

Nobody had a care in the world. Or so it seemed.

I would hazard a guess at one per cent of the people following Covid rules. I was one of the very few wearing a mask.

We all know Covid rates will rise with the easing of lockdown. However, the scale of the rise will be down to us all.

So if/when Boris cancels foreign holidays this year and if/when we go back into lockdown who will you blame?
