I REFER to your article on the progress of the 189 apartments being built on Station Road Latchford (Warrington Guardian, December 3).

I have expressed my views on this before regarding the traffic congestion this development will cause.

However I did a little survey last week.

There are no less than 10 individual pedestrian crossing points in Latchford between Station Road, Grammar School Road and Station Road to Richmond Avenue.

This is roughly within a half a mile distance of Latchford centre.

Traffic sometimes is stop/start because of these crossing points.

I hate to see what it will be like with the addition of more motorists from this development.

Pure mayhem comes to mind.
