I WAS interested to read the report about the Centre Park link road (Warrington Guardian, August 27).
Looking at the roadworks on both sides of the development is interesting.
Both at Chester Road and Slutchers Lane are new junctions to accommodate the road.
But how will the existing traffic cope with this?
Will we end up with huge queues on either side when the lights are changing?
Driving down Parker Street is often accompanied by a wait event at the moment.
What will it be like when the lights are on red?
I hope I am wrong but I really cannot see anything but simply a shifting of the problem when this road opens.
