DO parents know where their children are or do they simply not care?
I went to Sainsbury’s in Stockton Heath this week and there was a crowd of very young teenagers around the entrance, around 20.
It was difficult to get in the shop, although they were not intimidating.
But this was around 8pm, and we are in the middle of a pandemic.
Is that really an appropriate place for them to be?
Crowding onto a small pavement, next to a busy road, all on the bikes.
Staff told me they would be moved on by the PCSO later, so this was clearly not a one-off thing.
Young people need places to go and things to do after all this time, I understand that.
But hanging around outside a shop is not really the place.
