FURTHER to my letters previously published in the Guardian I have noticed that recently there has been an increase of poor driving by car drivers.
Two examples were noticed this week.
One, fortunately I was driving by myself as I find passengers a distraction, where a car emerged in front of me from a side road clearly marked by give way markings, causing me to have to slow.
The other, where a driver went through traffic lights, clearly on red, causing pedestrians to have to step back to safety.
I suggest that drivers such as these should be banned and made to re-sit the Government driving test after a period of time to reflect on the dangers of poor driving.
Is it significant that these examples took place north of the river?
