THE plan to build houses at Peel Hall suffers from one very basic problem – the land is prone to flooding, as the recent weather has shown.
The basic problem is that the natural drainage of the land was ruined when all the houses at Cinnamon Brow were built.
So unless the developers are prepared to undertake major remedial drainage works any houses built on the land will always flood during heavy rain.
