I FEEL that parents that are not key workers have been forgotten, many of us have not been furloughed.
I completely agree that key workers children should be provided with childcare but what about children in other working families?
The parents of these children feel guilty that they are not providing the interaction the children need and deserve, too many hours in front of a TV.
My primary aged kids have been very accepting in the main, but I fear as the children return to work and hear of the fun other children have had in school, or with their parents that are not working, mine will realise just how poor I have been as a parent.
As an adult, will they think back and remember being batted away again and again as mum or dad were on another works call?
