I AM a social worker who on my lunch hour decided to nip to Asda Birchwood and get some shopping in.

I can’t go in the allocated key worker slot as I have a young child and am already in work.

I thought if I took my badge they would understand that I didn’t have time to queue and my situation.

However when I went to the security on the door they rudely sent me to the back of the queue.

While I appreciate they have allocated special times for key workers, they are only useful for those whose working hours and personal circumstances that allow them to.

I know there has been another report of this nature elsewhere.
