I’VE just read the letter from Allan Ralston and Cllr Celia Jordan in Warrington Guardian January 16 edition.
I’d love to meet Allan and Celia, shake their hands, wish them a ‘Happy New Year’ and buy them both a drink.
I think, however, on January 31 they’ll be having an early night.
On to another subject, I urge every Guardian reader to go to the museum to see the exhibition of paintings by Warrington’s answer to LS Lowry, it is absolutely marvellous.
The titles to the paintings will give everyone a chuckle.
My favourite is the pub scene titled ‘The lady showing a bit of leg’.
As for the museum it is a gem, there is something there to interest everyone.
It is one of Warrington’s hidden gems.
