LETTER: 'Why is the council behaving so recklessly towards our countryside?'
I HAVE to say by far the most depressing sight of Christmas was our walk from Grappenhall Heys Walled Garden to Grappenhall village.
We love walking the countryside of south Warrington, but noticing the planning application signs on two fields either side of the path was a reminder it may be less pleasant next Christmas.
Countryside and fields are precious but the council seems to be so reckless as to its protection for the future.
