HAS anybody else drive past the new development at Station Road recently?
It looks massive.
I appreciate this was a former industrial site, but how will the roads around there cope with the hundreds of extra cars?
Have the town planners tried to get round there at rush hour or school drop-off/pick-up?
It is a nightmare.
I appreciate we need new homes, and I think these will look great and be desirable next to the canal.
But there is never any improvements to roads first.
The Cantilever had to close for emergency works before Christmas and this will not help.
I know this letter will fall on deaf ears but I really wish people would look at the bigger picture and wider infrastructure before agreeing plans such as these.
Because this time next year, I fear I will be writing in to complain about the gridlock in Latchford.
