LETTER: A fine mess
I TOTALLY agree with Gerard Kennedy’s letter over the appalling treatment of a midwife trying to do her essential job in Stockton Heath.
I was also fined when helping a disabled friend attend a doctor’s appointment in Stockton Heath, I inadvertently displayed her disabled badge incorrectly.
After both myself and the patient’s daughter explained the circumstances, the council still refused to cancel the fine.
I hope the council will show some compassion in this case and cancel her fine.
