AS one of Warrington’s longer serving retailers, we were dismayed and deeply disappointed to see the front page advertising ‘wrap’ promoting ‘Visit Liverpool’ on the November 21 edition.
All the more so as the town is literally on the cusp of opening the £142m new Time Square development.
Whereas we acknowledge the Guardian is a commercial enterprise, surely the local paper should have some ethical responsibility and indeed loyalty to the town and businesses that support it?
