LETTER: Student right
Student right I HAVE grave reservations about the activist of Extinction Rebellion.
(The only extinguisher who won my wholehearted support was the Brazilian gentleman Daniel Guttieres, who together with his gallant little band went out day after day trying to extinguish wild fires in the Amazonian rain forest.) However in the ordering of priorities, I felt that the young interviewee from Priestley College on BBC Radio 4’s PM programme last Wednesday evening (November 20) who commented: “There’s no point in getting sovereignty back for a country that’s under water,”
really said it all.
