LETTER: 'Seals have returned to the Mersey - I might ask them for fishing tips'
I JUST wanted you to know that I came across your story in the Warrington Guardian about a seal spotted in the Mersey back in February.
I was googling seals by the Mersey as today while fishing near Howley Weir at Victoria Park I witnessed a seal hunting a huge carp.
The carp was surfacing and in distress when a seal popped up next to it and was corraling it.
Needless to say I wanted to ask the seal for tips as all I caught was some weeds.
