I AM writing to you about the waste of money Warrington Borough Council spent on a survey for The Drill Hall, and other things like looking for land for the travellers.
Why spend so much on things that are not needed? I asked for the trees in Old English Martyrs School to be trimmed, all I got told was it is not a priority and I can’t get a proper TV signal.
So why is it that they can cut trees on bus routes and not on land that they own?
As a 75-year-old I will have to pay for my TV licence as I do not get pension credit. The BBC or the government should cough up and cut the top staff pay.
