FORGET about the pub with no beer, what about the cafe with no hot food?

Last Friday, after an hour’s shopping in Sainsbury’s in Church Street, I was looking forward to relaxing with a cuppa and a bite to eat in their cafe but was disappointed to be told there was no hot food due to staff shortages.

This seems to be an ongoing problem since redundancies were made a while back.

I looked for a manager to submit a complaint but lo and behold none was to be seen.

I suggest an immediate solution to this problem would be to rehire all the staff who were made redundant.

If the original redundancies were for monetary gain then my suggestion would be ensure the company is quids in and they may even be able to afford restoring payment for the staff ’s 15-minute tea breaks that were recently withdrawn.
