RECENTLY installed speed humps by Warrington Borough Council on Quarry Lane in south Appleton have failed to slow down traffic in this area.
This is because they are not wide and high enough to be effective.
Most traffic coming in from London Road has caused concerns for the residents and pedestrians on this short stretch of road because of the speeding motorists.
The council spent two weeks recently constructing these useless speed humps at some cost.
They are neither use nor ornament.
