I WAS very interested in your article on page two of the Warrington Guardian about the Western Link connecting the A56 to A57.
I think this is a very good plan which will drastically reduce the traffic congestion in Warrington town centre.
I would have preferred a map of the proposed route instead of the photograph of a view I did not recognize.
Where the Western Link reaches the A57 I think this will be at the traffic light junction on Sankey Way with Cromwell Avenue.
Cromwell Avenue was originally built with the plan to double its capacity to a dual carriageway.
Is this still in the minds of Warrington Borough Council?
Cromwell Avenue will link the Western Link with the M62 and the Omega business district.
This will increase the traffic in Westbrook and Callands area to a mixed reception.
