I ENJOY visiting the Makers Market in Warrington town centre and believe it gives a much-needed boost to our local economy.
But I do feel somewhat disappointed at those who thought the market would be a satisfactory replacement for the Christmas stalls we have enjoyed in the Old Fish Market in previous years.
While festive markets in Manchester and Chester continue to thrive, it’s pretty poor that for the next three weekends now we have nothing much to look forward to other than a Christmas drinks teepee and sausage stall.
Bah humbug to one and all.
